[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have several acres of land cleared and lots of trees up and down our driveway so we trim limbs and branches pretty often it seems. So, I was so excited to get this since I knew it would really be handy for our home. 
My husband took it out and used it within a few hours of delivery and was very happy with how it worked. There was a big storm hit our area a couple of nights before and we had some limbs and branches that had fallen and leaning over our driveway, enough that they hit our suburban when we drove by. So he took this out and got to cutting, he said this cut thru some thicker branches with ease! Even easier than another tree trimming saw we have. This one has a very sturdy handle and is easier to control. It's also not so heavy that it is hard to work with so his arms do not get tired too fast. 
This was exactly what we needed and we will use it for years to come! Definitely worth it if you're like us and need to cut limbs and branches!

I like this item except for the fact that the blade comes loose quickly when trying to cut into a tree. The owners need to tighten the bolt with a pair of pliers.

I bought this item with reservations, not knowing what kind of quality it would be. It has exceeded my expectations.
The saw blade is razor sharp and hefty but not heavy. It has three possible positions: down by the pole for storage, and two positions for sawing. A wing nut is loosened and re-tightened when you change the blade position.
The telescoping handle is substantial metal, maybe steel. I was surprised at it's sturdiness. I was a bit concerned that it would be too heavy for me but it's not. The telescoping buttons hold the pole firmly in the extended position and adjusts easily.
There is a plastic slide that fits over the blade to protect it and to protect you from the blade when in storage.
I tried it out the first time i the fully 8' extended position. I sawed through a 2" diameter dangling tree root in my creek, then overhead I sawed a 1.5" and 1" branch, and every time it went through them quickly and easily.
I'm very happy with the saw, because my old pruner/saw/lopper was hard to hold in position and constantly the lopper part caught on adjacent tree branches, making the whole process even harder for me. Plus the weight of the lopper made it hard to get the saw at the right cutting angle. This saw is not "end-heavy" like the lopper and I'm sure I'm going to really like it.

Great telescoping pruning saw

Handy, easy to use and it don't required to much space to stored.

I made a good choise.

I did two 40' tall Ash trees in two days, and I used this more than I did the chain saw, pruner and lopping shears combined. Its is so fast, lightweight and easy to use. 
The only improvement I would try is, make the tooth pitch slightly wider, so it is less likely to bind.

Its a beast

Worked very well. cutting brown tail moth infected branches from our trees.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to use loppers to prune trees and bushes for many years. I'm glad I tried the pruning Saw. It made for easy trimming on my trees in the yard. This saw also has an 8 foot extender for higher pruning. The saw is very sharp making it easy to use and cut with. I think I may keep using this rather than loppers that get dull easy.

Pruning Saw

Works pretty good, easy to use but blade is a little flimsy and the wing nut doesn't tighten as well as it should.  (A rubber gasket fixed that problem) I like that it's expandable and stores in a small space. Received item quickly and ordering was simple. It cut through thick red maple branched easily. Good purchase overall for the money spent.
