These are not low-rise. I am not sure of the inseam, but they do run long. I am 5'8" and they were a couple inches long.

Thought this was a cute style. Runs a little long. I am 5'8" and they were a couple inches too long on me.

Cute style jean

I tried these on in the store. I'm 5'6" and average length jeans usually fit just right. I tried on an average length pair of these first, and they were about 4 inches too long. I then tried on the petites, and they fit just right.
These are true to your normal size ... I wear a 16 in Levi's and Old Navy jeans, and a 16 in these was perfect.
They are mid-rise ... sitting just below the natural waist.
The cotton is mid-weight and softer than usual denim.
I don't understand why the other reviewer thinks they don't fit right and need spandex in them ... I'm a curvy girl with an hourglass figure, and by the time I get jeans big enough to fit in the hips, they gap way too much in the waist. These fit perfectly with no gapping (and no muffin top!)
For the price, I ended up buying a pair of these in the light wash and this darker wash.

Great for the price ... but too long

I like the color and style of these jeans and I almost like the fit. They don't have any spandex in them at all so they have absolutely no stretch to them so they don't fit quite right. This also makes them a bit uncomfortable in my opinion. Any good womans jean needs a little spandex in then!
