Yes. I just use my normal face wash or a face wipe to remove it.

Yes. I use Philosophy Purity cleanser and it comes off very easily without any "scrubbing".

Seems like an easy question, but...soap (what kind?) & water?

I would never use soap near my eyes for a number of reasons. Mascara should be removed with eye-makeup remover or at the very least a creamy cleanser. This will give the best removal, and treat the eye area the best. (Remove makeup from face, then wash the face for complete removal and good skincare practice.)

You probably meant does this formula remove without great difficultly? If that is what you meant, then I can tell you it removes like most other non-water-proof mascaras that are out there.

Use baby oil to clean the applicator. Pump the applicator in and out of the tube. Use the inside edge of the tube to rake off excess mascara before application. I have even put about two tiny drops of baby oil into the tube and pumped it with the applicator to thin it out so it doesn't clump.

A lot of girls "pump" the wand multiple times. This pushes air in and thickens the formula of just about every mascara out there. Also, always store your mascara in a cool, dry place (not in bathroom if yours gets hot and steamy every day from a nearby shower) and replace it every 3-4 months, even if it isn't used up. Any makeup that comes into close contact with your eyes where bacteria can easily enter should be replaced more often, unless its powder eye shadow and you use clean makeup brushes. Powder shadow lasts about 1-2 years.

I am a makeup coach/MUA (makeup artist). I have found that most mascaras glob-up from time to time. (Sometimes the product can shift in the container, and more may come out on the brush.)

I typically have to wipe down a mascara want more than once, especially when it is new. Use a clean tissue that won't leave a lot of fibers behind, and be gentle. Having to do this is not so unusual, but shouldn't continue being so globby the life of the mascara. (3 months life span.) (If you use it daily, and it happens daily for a few weeks, return it, you may have gotten a dud. It happens!)

that's never happened to me with this mascara but I keep it in a cool dark place. I don't know if that makes a difference.

Un-zoom the wand so that it is straight, rather than curled.

Don't curl the brush the whole way. Also, wipe the tip off before you use it. Works great!

If you ever have problems with mascara doing this, you can add a drop of saline solution to your mascara tube. Replace the cap and shake gently. It will help give your mascara a bit more shelf life.

Is there a way to keep the mascara from glob bing up? The first few times I used it were great, but then it got very heavy and it globs on and clumps

Yes. I saw it on the website. I don't wear waterproof mascara myself, so I didn't look for it in the store.

I'm used to spending far more money on mascaras and read a great review on this Flower one and thought I'd give it a try - it lives us to the expectations for lengthening curling and volumizing at a fraction of a cost of the others I've tried that didn't work nearly as well!

Pleasantly surprise with this great value mascara!

My review is on the Waterproof version (Intense Black-WP). I am not only a contact lens wearer but I am also an allergy sufferer with seriously sensitive eyes. I have never once in my life been able to wear a waterproof mascara (or waterproof liner) without having a very bad reaction that caused my eyes to look like I had an advanced case of some mutated form of pinkeye for several days and resulted in a tossed pair of contact lenses. Flower changed that and is nice to my budget too!!!

For the first time ever, I can wear a waterproof mascara without a negative reaction. I am a runner so I sweat. A lot. It's already hard enough to look decent in a running photo, having my short, light color lashed blue eyes completely disappear in that photo is just not cool at all. Not only will this mascara not cause a reaction but it holds up to miles of running sweat. And.... I ran a 5K in a total downpour a couple of weeks ago so I was completely drenched by the end of the race but my mascara had not smudged a bit! On a side note, the Flower Long Wear Eyeliner also held up very well in that race too and also doesn't cause a reaction.

Naturally, you will need to wash it off completely at night if you don't want to wake up with clumps but I am old school and it comes off fine with some baby oil - no special products needed!

A Waterproof Mascara Option For Sensitive Eyes!

The brush on this mascara is so neat. It is easy to use and really fun. The mascara is good, and with the different styles of the brushes, it is awesome.

Really ingenious

I have very fine brow hairs and eyelashes. I am mentioning this because I've found that many people don't know how to choose the best mascara for them. You should look at your hair texture or brow texture. If you have very fine hair, its usually identical for the lashes, fine, thin, etc. The thickest, coarsest hair usually coincides with thicker, curlier lashes that get clumps too easily. I have to find the right balance because if a formula is too "thickening", it weighs down my fine lashes and pulls the curl out. My eyes are also kind of flat and therefore, I need a thinner wand that will get to the root or base of my lashes without taking my eye out! One coat looks nice. I find it lengthens and thickens just enough. I can make it look very natural with one coat (my lashes are very light brown naturally) or I can apply 3 layers and give myself really full lashes that aren't all clumpy. It stays on and doesn't run under my eyes but washes off easily at night. I wear contacts and it doesn't irritate my eyes, either. Container looks like a very expensive mascara.

As good as any $25 mascara!

Love the chic look of the packaging, and love the triple action wand! I've never seen anything like this....and at such a great price. Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of this product!

Awesome wand!

I've tried drug store brands but they are too runny. I've used Lancome Definicils mascara for 15 years but it takes too many applications to produce a good effect on my lashes. The Flower Zoom-In mascara in Intense black is thick and coats my lashes with only one or two strokes. I love the zoom-in wand that allows you to apply thicker coverage with one application. I will never buy another brand of mascara again after using Flower's mascara. Kudos to Drew for creating this incredible product that is better than the designer brands at an unbelievably low price.

Best mascara I've ever used

I'm still working with this, I've used the Calvin Kline for quite a while, it only has 2 settings, but I love it and the price of this line is really a great value!

Better price point than Calvin Klein mascara!

If you read my other reviews of the individual products I purchased in this line you will see that I didn't like most of it at all. However, the mascara was pretty good. I particularly liked the other mascara I ordered (you can see review, green tube). This went on pretty good for a waterproof mascara, not a lot of clumping. I tried the different "wands", couldn't really see that to be a big plus but overall liked the mascara. Whether it's a plus or a minus I will say that it was extremely difficult to remove, even when using mascara remover. Hated most all of this line but do think the mascara was pretty good for the price. I wear the other mascara I purchased all the time, have only used this once due to the difficulty in removing. I ended up returning everything in the line except the mascara and lip balm.
