How do you fasten straps?  No instructions included on how straps work...way too long, hang over shoe.

After walking in stocking feet for 3 months, being in shoes bigger and one inch off ground, even using walker is not good.  
I am a  shoe size 6.5 or 7.  The 6.5-8 medium was cloesest size .  Stubbed my toe as I turned and went plop on the ground. Not hurt but had to call 911 to help me up.
