Yes it screws in but it might need the wall angle to be 90o.

To call this a tension rod is incorrect. Walmart should change their description. The rod is screwed to the wall using the provided mounts and screws. Pre-Drill your holes if going into a stud.

Good quality, feels durable, nice finish.  I needed to install a new one because the last one was inferior and rusted badly.  Includes drywall anchors and 4 screws.  I just used an 1/8" ceramic bit and drilled pilot holes through the tile, then screwed through them.  Like others mentioned, the included fasteners are chintzy and strip easily.  If you have that problem, you can buy good quality stainless screws from your local hardware store.

Durable, Good Quality

For the price you can't beat this shower rod. I think I paid just under 20 bucks for mine so it would appear the price has gone up a little. Still a good value compared to others. I just couldn't bring myself to buy a $40.00 rod from places like Bed Bath Beyond, etc. Found this one, and figured why not. Easy to install, looks good, functions as it should. It's just a shower rod, how fancy does it really need to be. LOL

Great Value

this is such a great addition to a shower. i had doors and kept bumping body parts while showering, hated feeling cramped. we installed this, which is so easy. other reviews claiming not to fit, or hard to do, is silly. once finished it was like doubling the elbow room. the material is solid and has a nice finish. can't believe i waited so long to do this, yeah.

making room in your shower.

We have a standard shower/tub in the kids bathroom.  My son is 15 and is 6'4" so you can imagine his long arms bump into the wall when washing his hair.  I couldn't believe how much room this seems to have made in the shower.  Easy for my husband to install.  Not sure that as a woman, I would have been able to do it without the help of my husband and his tools, but well worth the money to have this put in.  A great buy.

What a difference

I was looking for a curved rod that attaches to the wall and thankfully, these are exactly as the picture shows!  As other reviewers have noted, the description is wrong...this is not a tension rod.  It installs easily and I really like the look and finish of this rod.

Very happy to find this curved rod in brushed nickel at an exceptional price. What I was finding elsewhere was outrageous and few to choose from.  This was perfect for my guest bathroom.   Not high quality but very functional and exactly what I wanted.

Curved shower rod

This.was exactly what we needed. All other curved shower rods install inside the shower. We wanted to mount it on outside of shower on the wall. It worked perfectly!

Can install outside of shower.

The transaction was good. The rod has a nice look. The screws were very flimsy and easily striped when using my cordless screwdriver. I had to get new screws to replace the ones that came with the rod. This made the product seem like not very good quality considering the price. Therefore I would recommend this product to a friend but I would caution them about the hardware.

Okay for the price.

Easy to install. Love the way the rod itself attaches and

measure your opening to see what length you need as
some are longer and some are shorter

Good design

Ordered this online solely on the fact that it said "tension" rod, implying that it is in fact a tension rod & requires no drilling. Opened it up & it in fact had two parts that had to be screwed into the wall. Returned it

Misleading Title/Description

Cheap and not as described. Only keeping because of how long it took to get this shipped. The brackets are “oil rubbed bronze”, the rod is a pewter, and the screws are shiny silver.
