I had just purchased a numbers mattress one without the pillow top. I purchased it so I could finally get a bed that was not to soft but not hard as a rock. I had purchased 3 mattresses in the last 2 yrs. Well this one hit the spot! I was sleeping good, just needed a little fluff on the top lol. When I got the feather bed it didn't have any odor to it. I let it set for a bit before making my bed as it says to do. After it had set for a few I then made my bed. This has added the little softness that my mattress needed on the top. I have to say I have been sleeping like a baby, not waking up all through the night. I fluff it once a week when I change my sheets an comforter. I haven't had any feathers poke me. Don't think that will really be an issue. When I was younger had a real feather bed mattress, this one is just as comfortable. This is a great value, love it! I have recommended it to other family members an friends.

We are enjoying this featherbed it is awesome. We bought it for overnight guest to sleep on instead of sleeping on the floor. I wish I would of bought this sooner because it is a lot better to sleep on instead of a blow up mattress. It is very comfortable, and we are very pleased with this product.

Great Price & made in the USA

When I first took it out of the packaging I was disappointed because it is not 100% feathers. I tried it out and was amazed that this is better than my other 100% feather bed. There isn't all the clumping and shifting that I got with the other feather bed either. It stays soft and plush and unlike the other feather bed it fit my queen sized bed from end to end. I love that you can feel the front and back of this bed so I never have to deal with feathers sticking me. I did buy a feather bed cover from Amazon.com because of my other bed experience, but I really didn't need it. The cover simply protects the bed and prevents any stray feathers from coming through. This featherbed is worth every cent and I love it.

Super Soft

I was skeptical when I went to Walmart to pick this up. I had this idea in my head that once I got it home and opened the box up, I would hate it and have to run back and return it. Well that was not the case at all!! I opened it up and threw it immediately on my bed and laid on it and I was like.. OMG... this feels sooo wonderful! I seldom do reviews, but here I am!. I love it!. I have had for a couple of weeks now. It stays right in place. It does not move. I do plan to get a protective cover for it incase of any spills. I plan on buying more. The pros are that I am happy with it. The cons... none... however I would like to say that twice I did feel something poking out of the top of it and it was a feather quill, but I did some reading on the Internet and this happens and one can use a cover for it. Other than that... I am very happy with my purchase and I will not let a a few popping quills deter me from a comfortable sleep experience. I would also like to mention that instead of going out and purchasing an expensive mattresses... I purchased a queen Coleman air mattress with pillow-top with a built in pump... I put the feather baffle box on top and it is just amazing. I saved sooo soo much money. I seldom have to add air.. This is great way to save a lot of money and still have something great to sleep on. No box spring needed because of the height. As someone also mentioned that of course you have to fluff up the pad and that is what I do every night or other night for a comfy sleep. I would definitely purchase this... it is well worth it in price!

IT'S A KEEPER AND WILL PURCHASE MORE!!!!!!

I have been battling to find the right balance for sleeping comfort; ranging from just using the pillow topper that came with my mattress, which was not an inexpensive purchase, to buying memory foam, gel memory foam. I have had years of issues with my lower back and neck. My mother was the one who told me to try a feather topper.

When it first arrived which, only took a few days - thanks Walmart, as always! I let it air out, as directed. It does not come with a protective covering but, as noted with other reviews, you could buy one. I did not feel the need to do so. I place it on top of my mattress and underneath my fitted sheet. Please note that you should buy fitted sheets that are at least 16 inches deep especially if you have a pillow top mattress otherwise it will not fit comfortably.

Yes, you should fluff it up each morning but, that takes a few seconds and it does give the feathers a chance to distribute evenly. The boxing is perfect in dimensions so that you don't waste a lot of time fluffing it up. On my days off, I air out the bedding so that the topper can to air out. Use a fabric spray that is low allergen, in general, this helps to minimize any dust that our rooms tend to build up. This is a great suggestion during the months when you cannot open a window.

Overall, I would absolutely recommend this item to anyone who would like to have a comfortable nights rest!!

Excellent Topper!

I received my feather bed within three days of ordering. After reading a few unfavorable reviews I set my expectations pretty low but after receiving the product I was ecstatic with my purchase! My feather bed topper was made just like a fitted sheet and fit my full size bed perfectly...no slipping and sliding, it was held firmly in place! Some folks said that the feathers would poke through so I ordered a cotton mattress topper to cover it...just in case. I never needed it and put it on my guest bed instead. As far as fluffing the mattress every day...nope, not needed. My husband and I have been sleeping on it for two weeks and I have yet to "fluff" it. The feather bed is still as soft and comfy as the day I received it. And talk about warm...the feathers absorb your body heat and it feels like your wrapped in a cocoon. Don't know if this would be good in the summer but for now it's Heavenly! Would I recommend the feather bed topper? Yes I would and I do. It's a great product for the price.

Great feather bed

I really like this featherbed and it makes just about anything comfortable. At the moment I don't have a traditional bed so I have used it on a fair air mattress, sofa, and an older recliner. I know, it is a strange situation, the point being is that it has enhanced each of these items. Looking forward to putting it on an actual bed!!! My ONLY desire is that it would be just a little fuller (I do fluff it up every morning).

Very nice featherbed.

I like the featherbed, and it is comfortable, but I wish it was thicker. I want a bed that I can truly "sink in" to, but this featherbed it not quite thick enough to do that. I am considering getting a second one, since the price is so reasonable, but I am not sure if I would get the effect I desire.

Comfortable, but needs to be thicker

I received the pillowtop a lot sooner that the website indicated I would. Nice pillowtop, great price. I've priced around and many of them are $150-$350.00 and I wanted something to add some softness and extra padded cush to my bed just to see if maybe my mattress was part of the reason I've had trouble sleeping lately. Its great & for 1/2 the price! I don't think you'll be disappointed. Just don't plan on lifting this thing onto your bed alone as it is heavy! After 3 weeks, I've had no more trouble sleeping. This thing is pretty awesome!!

In the beginning this bed topper truly made my bed more comfortable.  I wanted my bed to feel like hotel beds do- like sleeping on a cloud......Not even a week of use and my husband and I started to notice constant poking from the feathers, which of course resulted in feathers everywhere! In our sheets, blankets, and the floor of our room.  So I think this topper may need something more than just sheets on top of it, going to try a mattress protector and see if that helps. I can see that over time if these feathers cant stay in the darn thing that it will be flat and pointless to have. So I wouldn't recommend it by itself.
