As my now 8 month old grows, I wanted him to graduate to a more reliable durable carseat. One that is fashionable, safe, light in weight and easy to install. I had an issue with adjusting the straps with the bottom hooks however with a little patience I fixed it to my liking. And my baby boy is comfortable. Love the cup holder too.

Good fit for small car or suv easy to install

This is our second Cosco carseat (the other being the Finale 2 in 1) and this one is a winner too. We installed this rear facing in our Expedition that has leather seats. First off you should be using a seat protector/anti slip mat under your carseats. Second you need to put pressure down on the seat while you tighten it. The seat is very cushiony, the headrest is easy to move, and it fits in the middle seat of the second row in our SUV. There is room on either side of this seat for us to install our toddler's forward facing carseat/older kids belt positioning boosters. PS our 4 foot 50 pound 6 year old fits in this seat, but we use it for our 20 pound 6 month old.

This is very reliable car seat for your little one. Pretty simple installation. Just need to make sure you keep the straps in order when installing the seat.

We have Maxi-Cosi car seats as our primary car seats in the mini van. These were purchased solely for my husband to do pickup and drop off at day care. I went with these because they allow for the most room up front and they are fairly compact when rear facing. I read through all the reviews and we have had zero of these issues that others have had to install not one, but two of these in the car for our one year old twins. We plan on keeping our children rear facing until they are thirty pounds and currently they are barely twenty pounds each. I recommend everyone to read through the booklet that comes with the car seat and familiarize themselves with installation as it might differ from other models or brands.

Its comfortable for baby with all of the cushion but this seat is so frustrating. It doesn't stay reclined up right and falls backwards. The straps constantly twist, is tighter on one side than the other, and is difficult to tighten and loosen straps. Ive talked to car seat techs and completely taken out the straps and put them in again. Nothing helps. This seat was a waste of money for my rear facing 11 month old.

We've had nothing but problems with this seat

horrible car seat. i have tried to install this into my Pontiac grand am and my boyfriends Mazda protege and IT WILL NOT STAY TIGHT. iv tried the latch system and belt and nothing it just moves so much. also when i put my son in the car i cant get the straps to tighten at all. they are so lose its ridiculous.

I would give this car seat 0 stars if I could. This thing is literal trash if you intend to use it as a rear facing car seat. It does not sit up right at all while rear facing, constantly sliding backwards until the baby is staring straight up at the roof. And it moves left, right, back and forward no matter how tight you try to make the straps. Don't waste your money. It blows my mind how this ever passed inspection and was allowed to be sold to people.
