I purchased the 75 pound aluminum umbrella stand.  It arrived promptly altough I have not yet received the umbrella.  The aluminum was more expensive than the iron one but there were complaints of rusting with the iron so I opted for the aluminum.  It is HEAVY!  It arrived in good condition and I screwed in the short tubing and placed it under our table.  It was a bit difficult to move due to its weight but it is obviously a quality umbrella stand.

4.75 Stars.  Very happy with the umbrella, especially for the price!  The only reason it's not 5 stars is that it's not as substantial (heavy) and I thought it might be.  But again, great deal for the price.  We've only had it a couple of weeks, but if it lasts a few years, we will have gotten our money's worth.

We purchased two of this style umbrella for its fiberglass pole.  This umbrella has a few nice and practical features such as the crank, tilt and vents.  The color is vibrant.  Highly recommend this umbrella.

Attractive Umbrella

I am so happy with this umbrella.   It covers my 60"" square table very nicely and I love the cuff tilt function.  Because the umbrella is so heavy, it makes it very easy to tilt the umbrella.  Because of the weight of the umbrella you definately want to use the 75lb stand that is recommended.

It works very well and does a great job with wind.  It feels sturdy and the mechanisms work very nicely.  It also looks great.  The only complaint is something that, by nature of an umbrella, cannot be fixed.  It is very tall so, even though it is big enough for our 60"" round table, we cannot shade all of the chairs at the table.  This can't be helped because the folded umbrella comes down such that it already covers part of the crank: there has to be room for it to fold down.  For our purposes, an offset umbrella might have been a better choice.  If you have smaller than a giant round table, it will probably work wonderfully.

Great product!

Love the look, but not able to leave open when not in backyard, because blow over, even with SLIGHTEST breeze.  We thought the wind vents might prevent.  We bought in ""taupe"" with bronze pole.  Suggest never leaving this umbrella open when not in backyard.  One has fallen in pool, the other in the yard, caused by 3-5 mph breeze.  We bouth the 75 lb. base on wheels, and all reps said should be stable.

Very Attractive

Ordered this umbrella for a client and in less than a week my client sent me pics of the pole where the pole had bent causing a hole in the pole.  The pole is made of very soft metal that is very flimsy and the screw from the base which holds the pole in place was causing another hole.  The upper portion is beautiful and seems to function well, but the bottom support pole is not strong enough to support the weight of the umbrella and cranking system.
