I added the hutch to my Somerset 60 inch L-shape desk. I removed an old bookshelf from the room and added the Hutch to compliment the desk and hold some books and misc. items. Very neat.

We love it, we purchased a cherry desk at a used office supply sale and the hutch was broken. The hutch we bought from Walmart. Com looks beautiful and fit perfectly!

The Somerset configuration (desk + credenza) was easy to assemble. I use a laptop, so the tower cabinet is wasted space; I wish they would give a couple of shelves to facilitate alternative use. Also put a small rolling cabinet next to the file draw for some extra storage. My only other improvement would be a small flourescent tublar light fixture on underside of hutch cabinet; the desk's workspace can easily get dark on the eyes. Doning it overe, I'd buy the two units again. Also store delivery was a snap.

Beauty and Function

I found the desk and hutch not to hard to assemble, the only drew back to me, are the plastic caps supplied to cover the screw holes. Also the doors on the hutch droop when closed.

Great size for the money!

This collection was easy to assemble and looks nice. I had moved and was able to partial disassemble the desk and it survived the trip. Other DIY desks I've owned could not be taken apart without damage.

Nice finish

This hutch is a great compliment to either the l shaped desk or the straight desk. Took about 2 hours to assemble. The cardboard backing is garbage though. I ended up putting the cardboard backing only on the upper part of the hutch where the shelves and cabinets are. The lower part of the hutch I left open to the wall for two reasons. One, the cardboard backing looks horrible. Two, the cutouts for cords are only in certain places and limits where wires can be run. Overall though, very happy with the hutch.
