sheet set is a cotton rich easy care percale 180 thread count

Thread counts are sort of buzz words in the luxury sheet business. Since this Bed in a Bag was about forty five dollars for the six piece twin set and topped off at fifty five dollars for the king set, I assumed thread count wasn't all that much of an issue. I was thinking it was about value and aesthetics and of course quality. I very quickly took a look at what might be the most expensive Bed in a Bag on this web site . It was a 24 piece set and costs $295.00 for the King. I believe the thread count for the sheets and pillowcases were either 200 or 300. My son is quite comfortable with this cozy set and I tried it out myself. It's all good.

the bed skirt is a textured grey design. This fabric is also used for the back of the comforter.

There is no valance available

The set comes with the bed skirt in the photo which matches the reverse of the comforter. Charcoal gray wit a textured look. (Think of taking a fine bristle wire brush and scraping lightly down wet wall paint.) It's a nice subtle accent. I have seen valances that would go perfectly with this set, although a valance is not included. I am n the process of deciding.

What bedskirt is shown in the photo, or what ones goes with this? Is there a valance also?

The product is in fact 60% cotton, 40% polyester. Manufacturers are required by law to be within 2% either way of the labelled blend

Moms, if you have a teenage son who will not give up his preference for the usual dark blue plaid, medium blue stripes, or just plain solid blue, this will definitely sway him towards something different. The comforter is a plaid "pattern" of small, medium and large blocks that have a "textured" look. (think using a fine bristle wire brush going down a wall of wet paint.) It's the perfect accent. The blocks are charcoal gray, slate blue. light steel gray and faded denim blue and again with a "textured" look. Thin lines of white and thinner lines of the above colors run across and down the comforter making it a more modern plaid. Reverse is solid charcoal textured as is sham and bed skirt. The sheets and pillow case are quite nice in white with a brighter white thin pinstripe look. Easy to accessorize with maybe a chrome floor lamp, black wall frames or a slate blue table lamp. I've already seen curtains, blinds and valances that would be perfect and am in the process of deciding. Banish that bue-ee blue with this set and you may not have to buy another for the dorm! Trust me, your college bound son will be more than happy to show this set off....to his roomate.

Different and Very Appealing Plaid Pattern Set

Great product! Light and comfortable; perfect for warm weather. The Blue & Gray Plaid Color pattern and design are attractive and eye pleasing. Its the perfect fit for a twin bed. The box spring sham is a plus, I wasn't expecting it. Great purchase, affordable, will buy again in the future.

Super Bed in a Bag!

Bought it for my 17 year old daughter. She likes it very much. The only thing she says is not so good, is that the quilt is not the warmest. But otherwise, she likes the softness, i washed before use on gentle cycle and dried it on permanent press with low heat. Came out well. Love the pillow cases, the color and the even size of quilt. You don't have to find the longer side of it, all sides the same length. My daughter is 6 feet tall and it fits her well. We don't regret the purchase.

For the price, I am pleased with the quality. Comforter is not very heavy but I don't need
it to be. Overall, its perfect for a teenage boy!

Good value/good quality

I would definitely recommend this bedding set. It has really pretty shades of blue and grey. I just repainted my son's room blue and grey and started searching the internet for bedding sets. I was happy to find this one and ordered it. I did order the queen set for a full size bed because the full size comforter doesn't come down far enough on the sides. The fabric has a bit of a sheen to it which makes it look more expensive. The sheets are a cotton poly blend, so they are not the softest or most luxurious, but the overall value is exceptional. My only complaint, which is why I'm not giving it 5 stars, is that the batting or filling seems like it...1) could be fuller and 2) it has moved around a bit inside, especially at the edges.
Other than that, this is an excellent choice and a great value.

Amazing Value!

I'm giving this product four stars because it is a great value. For the price you get an entire sheet set, bed skirt, pillow sham(s), and the comforter. It looks great in my son's room. It is cheap, flimsy fabric and I have to admit that I don't actually use the sheets because they are not very soft. But I'm very happy with the way it looks and for everything that is included in the set. The colors and pattern are modern. My son has an almost-black wood bed with silver drawer handles. His walls are blue and the colors in the comforter set look great with everything.

Don't Expect Excellent Quality for this Low Price

It's a nice set for the money. I was surprised at how nice this bed in a bag really was. Can't beat the price either. Thank You.

Was like sleeping on paper. Did not like it at all. Went and purchased a different set!

Great price but very uncomfortable!

This comforter is a beautiful print. Unfortunately, the fabric is very thin and after purchasing multiple comforters and can safely say that every one of them are sewn crooked. The print line is off by about 5 inches from one end of the bedspread tot he other. We were very disappointed, because the look of the print is lovely.

I was disappointed with this comforter set. It was extremely thin, cheap looking, and tore upon first wash. I returned it. The sheets were unusually thin and of poor quality.
