If you receive 30, 12 in squares, it should cover 30 square ft, I would think. So if your room is 15 ft wide, you should get 2 rows.

Nothing - they move very easily - even when multiples are snapped together!

I just installed so I cannot give a definite answer but they say the tiles can withstand 50,000 lbs of pressure.

Are these tiles good for use under car tires to prevent them from burning painted concrete floor?

We bought this flooring a few weeks ago. It arrived quickly and we installed it in two days. Looks great and install was easy. A little noisy when walking but we are getting use to it. Great option to make a sad garage floor look clean and beautiful.

Great Flooring at reasonable price

Hunted and researched far and wide before I decided on this product. Been in place for about 3 weeks and am happy with it. Positives: Looks great, easy to install, easy to clean, can install in stages so you don't have to clear the whole garage out at the same time, Sam's price is outstanding, not noisy when I walk on it even though some people complained about it, can pick it back up if I change my mind. Cons: Gets dirty quickly(looks so good you just notice stuff you wouldn't on concrete), dull finish. 
All my neighbors think it is super cool. It does look way better than any epoxy paint, rubber matts, or roll up sheets I've seen.
I used a concrete sealer underneath. Used a large rubber mallet to lock tiles, it was easier for me than stepping on them. Watched a couple of videos and read instructions, very easy to install and to break apart when I made mistakes. Used a Rockwell cutter(small circular saw) to trim tiles. Small tabs on the edges made it difficult to line up edges on the compound mitre saw, cutter worked much better. You will probably notice the wall lines and concrete work in your garage are neither very straight nor very square. Took 2 days to install 700sf including trimming, cutting and the time it took to move all my garbage back and forth around in the garage.
Side point: Used RaceDeck sticky back diamond finish tiles for a raised step. These have a shiny finish that looks amazing and doesn't show the dirt as bad. Wish I could have used these instead, but the concrete underneath must be VERY flat with no expansion joints, seams, or raised areas. Would have taken way too much work to prep the concrete.

Good product, easy to install.

We purchased this flooring to put over the concrete floor, then we put a large area rug over top for our band.  Rubber flooring traps moisture, this flooring has a little air space.  Works great.

Garage band floor

I purchased this product and the edging components to do my garage floor and am very satisfied with it. It was easy to install (I did a large two car garage in about 4 hours by myself). It looks great and really accents my garage. I have two side by side two car garages and did one two car garage side for my collector cars and now my wife wants me to do the other two car side where we park our regular vehicles. I did the Black and White Checker board pattern like a racing flag. I was initially looking at painting it with the checkerboard pattern but this was soooooo much easier and it looks great.
I would highly recommend it.

Great Product

I read most all the reviews on this product and find myself aligned with the very positive group. The clickety-clack of walking on the surface does not bother me at all. When vehicles are on the surface they are quiet and durable. Water leaks from car onto the polymer tiles not on your floor. I got this product after doing an epoxy surface over my 2 car garage however found that run-flat tires when hot from driving tended to remove the epoxy where they sat after running. After fixing that problem I installed a 6 x 12 mat of squares under each of my vehicles. A great solution for an already great looking garage makes for great house appeal. Went with plain black since tires leave residue, dirt, and marks no matter what. Works for my cars and motorcycle. For the price, this product is great!

Great Garage Flooring

Bought two weeks ago and glad I did!!! So much better than expoy paint that peels. Very easy to snap together. Had to buy 22 boxes for a little over 600 sq ft. Plus 2 boxes of edge pieces. Went with black and gray tiles. My husband used table saw to cut pieces to size that were to big.

Easy

As others have said, it is hard, not soft. One definitely "clacks" as one walks on it. But compared to the horrible looking cement - it looks so much better!!

And it is easy to put in. The sawn edges aren't as smooth as I would like - so use the finest blade you can!

Good for a "Crummy" Cement Garage Floor

I have tried the epoxy for my garage floor twice, once I did the second time I had it done.    The high desert heat just pulls the paint off the floor.   The flooring was so easy to I stall and looks great.   Easy to clean up also.   Makes noise when I walk on it is my only complaint.

Great look

There was no warning of shade differences due to manufacture's lots. I assumed because they were basically plastic, the color consistency would be the same. I received three different shipments on different days to fill my total order. I think they came from different warehouses around the country. Apparently the dye lots were different and I did not discover this until most of the floor was already installed and in many cases cut fit. Now I have two shades of grey, no pun intented. The product is fine but Walmart should add a disclaimer to the product that "color may vary" so I would have opened all the boxes at once and mixed them to eliminate the stark differences from one side of the garage, to the middle, and to the other side. Even then, shipping the same dye lot would have been preferable.
