By studying the patterns of prey in your selected area, you have a much better idea of when animals are active and when you're most likely to have some success. The cameras also have the chance of capturing fantastic moments of wildlife in action that you might not otherwise see. When choosing a camera, consider the detection zone, the quality of the pictures, and how long the batteries last.
• Multi tools: What hunter would leave home without a trusty Swiss army knife? With a multitool or knife in your pocket, it's much easier to deal with the many small tasks you encounter every time you're in the wilderness.

When you aren't hunting, a gun safe or lockable cabinet is an excellent way to store your equipment safely.
