MSD Ignition 5543 Street Fire Spark Plug Wires

I purchased the MSD Street Fire ignition box for my weekend cruising '66 Mustang. The car is pretty much original and I wanted a little extra from my ignition system. I hid the MSD box and the MSD tach adapter in the front compartment of the factory console. I also installed the MSD Street Fire plug wires. They are great since they are black like the stock wires. They do clip into the distributor cap a lot better and are a perfect fit. I did away with the troublesome dual points and replaced it with the red Pertronix II igniter. What a difference this upgrade made in the sound and performance. The engine is a 289 Hipo with a factory tri power set up. I ended up having to up size the jets a couple sizes in all 3 carbs. Bumped the timing up and set the idle mixture screws with the highest vacuum reading on my gauge. It's a total different car now performance wise and still all looks stock.
