Lasko 1500W Electric Pivoting Utility Ceramic Space Heater with Thermostat, 5919, Black

I have a similar heater labeled as a Stanley brand, but the Lasko is quieter and quicker to heat up. Also, with the Lasko being forced air I feel it suits my needs to aim the heat where I need it without waiting like I would with a radiant heater.

Anyone remember Raymond Lowey (the industrial designer),this looks like his great work. It is a bit larger than I thought, though not cumbersome. Does it put out good heat? You bet it does. This baby can handle a large room with ease. I live in South FL. We need heaters maybe 10 nights a year. The heat strip in my roof top AC went out and it was over a thousand bucsk to replace it. I bought a few electric space heaters to scatter around the cottage for under $100.00 and kept warm & smiling. This is by far and away the best one of the bunch.. Listed as a shop or garage heater, , you can pay no mind to that if you want a nice warm bungalow.
