Minor issues - solid quality but frustrating

Two faucets in my second master suite. I installed two of these faucets there. The nylon gasket on both of them has broken. I believe the cartridge is bad in one of them as it whistles when water is running through it. Other than these minor issue ... good faucets.

Poor Design

We built our retirement home 3 years ago and moved in May 2014. When choosing our faucets and plumbing, we looked at Delta and chose Model 15714LF for our Master Bath which has double sinks - thus, 2 faucets. Within the last 2-3 months, the base of each faucet has loosened. Upon further inspection, I find that the plastic "gasket" has deteriorated and broken loose on each faucet, causing each faucet to become unstable. I find this very unusual and will be contacting Delta soon for warranty recommendations.
