Product is cooling upon application. Helps with puffy eyes in the morning. I apply it once I wake up in the morning and have my coffee. It is very soothing. No burning to the eyes or no sent at all. The product does seem to hydrate as well, not to be used in place of a moisturizer but does have some moisturizing to it. I will definitely repurchase and recommend.
