Sony XS-R1345 5-1/4" 4-Way Car Speaker

I have been an audiophile for the past 15 years and I do recommend these speakers but first we need to find out what they do. I really hope this helps people. OK so the speakers say the total watts (which is peek), the RMS (which is constant) is "generally" half the total watts. So continuing is 220w. These are speakers not subwoofers. They are 4 way (lows, mids, highs and super high). How these work is complete with a subwoofer to take the stress off the speakers. Your bass should be mid or down a little so the subwoofer handles it, if you are pushing your bass up as high as it goes (without a subwoofer and depending on the stereo) will cause distortion. Use the speakers right and they will be amazing and last a very long time. I truly hope this helps people that are wanting to build a really good sound system. Remember the sound is only as good as the right stereo with the right setting using the right equipment with a good subwoofer.
