uni-ball Onyx Roller Ball Stick Dye-Based Pen, Black Ink, Fine, Dozen

When buying a dozen box of pens at a cost of almost $9, you would expect that they would work absolutely perfect. However, that was not the case with this particular box/brand I purchased. I am a pen person, I collect them. Over the years I have collected hundreds of pens, and these are one of my favorite by far. They start out great, very thin/fine line, extremely smooth, and overall exactly what I like. But after about 5 or 6 of my favorite “fill-in” puzzles, they started to skip. So I did what anyone would do, I shook it… which was the BIGGEST mistake I ever made. The pen exploded ALL OVER the place!!! Then never worked again. The second one I took out, did the exact same thing, worked for about 5 or 6 puzzles, started to skip a little, but then quit working!! The rest of the box did exactly the same. Not 1 pen worked any longer then the next. Lets just say lesson learned, and that I will NEVER buy this brand of pen again. Hopefully I can find another brand that won't be as expensive, and will work A LOT better than these did.
