The writing is smooth and it doesn't smudge like other brands I have tried before. I personally like black ink, but the red and blue were a nice palate cleanse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We don't ever really pay much attention to the pens we use, just grab a pack and go when we're at the store. These? Glide like butter. No bleeding on any of our check books and the boyfriend loved the red one for work papers. I love writing handwritten thank you notes too so these will do great.
