Quality Solar Lights With A Flare
The product performed far better than expectations. The light intensity is just as good as powered electric. The surface area of the large, 6 inch round, low profile solar panel collects enough energy with just 3-5 hours of direct sun to power the lamp for about 6 hours at night. As an experiment, but also a necessity, I placed the last of 4 lights in the set on the far end of the garden planter that is always in shade. Impressively the solar panel collects enough ambient light in the shade to power the light for about 3.5 hours at night. As a senior engineer myself, I look to design and deliver as well as purchase quality products, and this is truly a high quality product that also happens to look really classy and sharp. The solar panel (large surface area with thin profile for low visibility) and light kit (dual high power LEDs) are high quality. The lens is acrylic, mounts easily, and scallops the light pattern that is directed downwards onto the path or ground instead of directly outwards like so many path lights on the market. The casing is high quality alloy, and the post has an option for spike assembly or for mounting onto an alloy bracket with hardware for mounting onto walls or ledges. I have purchased many solar lights over the decades and this one is one of the best that I have found. Thanks for delivering a quality product to the market.
