Hefty Load & Carry Heavy Duty Contractor Large Trash Bags, 42 Gallon, 14 Count

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used regular Hefty trash bags for years, but I had never seen or heard of the Load and Carry Contractor size bags. First of all, these bags are a great size! They are huge! For size reference, I'm 5'5, and I could stand in these bags, and the bags come up past my chest. I have used these bags for regular every day trash, and to dispose of shingles from a shed we were tearing down. I was really surprised to find that these bags could handle the weight of shingles, and didn't get any holes in it from the nails still in the shingles. The material that these bags are made of are extremely heavy duty and really thick. These bags are very different material than your typical trash bag. I was able to fill 3/4ths of a bag full with the shingles, and the bag had no issues handling the weight. The bags may have been able to carry the weight of being completely full, but I wasn't strong enough to find out. Each bag has four handles on it, and I loved that it had handles. The handles themselves are pretty sturdy too, and can handle a good amount of weight before they start stretching out. If your bag was really heavy like mine, the handles do stretch out from the weight some, but we didn't have any handles break. The only thing I wish were a little better was being able to tie the bag shut. With the handles being on the short side, and the material of the bag being so thick, it's a little difficult to tie up and keep closed. Other than that, I absolutely loved these bags and I would definitely recommend to contractors, or anyone needing some jumbo, truly heavy duty bags. These bags are an overkill for regular every day trash, but they absolutely work when it comes to cleaning up things like roof shingles. I absolutely would purchase these again should the need arise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bags are fantastic for huge cleanup projects! You can put heavy items in here, sharp items, it'll hold. They're SO tall! I am 5ft 2in and you can see they almost hit my shoulders! These bags come with 4 very convenient and sturdy carrying handles! These would also be perfect for yard clean up, such as leaves and sticks. I definitely would recommend these. They are very durable.
