HORMEL BLACK LABEL Microwave Bacon, Gluten Free, Refrigerated, 12 oz Cardboard Box

Not sure why some people don't like this product. From reading the reviews, it seems like many ordered- or thought they ordered- Hormel fully cooked bacon, but instead received this product, which is raw and requires cooking. I personally would never order pre-cooked bacon.... it tastes gross and fake and all I can think about are the preservatives required! In any case, just becuz they got the wrong product isn't a reason to give a bad review on the product they did receive. While it is a little pricey, I will never buy another kind of bacon. It is so simple..... no fuss no muss, no greasy mess to clean up... just throw it in the microwave and 3 minutes later, you have delicious crispy bacon. Sometimes there is some shrinkage, but I hear that happens lol. I'd say 95 % of the time, it cooks up to exactly the same size as it would on the stove without the rigamarole and splatter. I like that there are 4 slices in each microwaveable pack.... it helps me with portion control, otherwise I'd eat it all at once!

This is great for single persons. Each individual items have 4 slices of bacon. I love that there is no mess with bacon grease on the stove. Bacon is very good.
