The sleek, pen-like applicator makes it easier than ever for the medication to comfortably and precisely target pain - including between teeth or discomfort caused by braces. The no-drip, ultra-soft brush applies the pain-relieving gel evenly and directly to sore areas, with a comfortable touch that won't irritate or aggravate the area. SoftBrush delivers medication in a mild, pleasant tasting gel, treating pain caused by toothaches and minor irritation of the mouth and gums. This includes irritation from braces, dentures and other orthodontic appliances. Instructions
Before use, remove sleeve from brush & discard. Twist base clockwise to dispense. It may take up to 10 full turns to dispense the initial dose, but subsequent uses should require less than 1 turn. To clean brush tip, rinse w/cold water. Adults & children 12 years of age & older: dry affected area & apply medication by gently brushing. Children under 2 years of age should be supervised in the use of this product. Do not purchase if package has been opened. Store at 68-77 degrees F. Cap tightly after use to avoid evaporation. Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid contact with clothing and fabrics such as household furniture to prevent possible staining.

Use of this product may cause methemoglobinemia, a rare but serious condition that must be treated promptly because it reduces the amount of oxygen carried in blood. Stop use and seek immediate medical attention if you or a child in your care develops:. • pale, gray, or blue colored skin (cyanosis). • headache. • rapid heart rate. • shortness of breath. • dizziness or lightheadedness. • fatigue or lack of energy. FOR ORAL USE ONLY. ALLERGY ALERT:. do not use this product if you have a history of allergy to local anesthetics such as procaine, butacaine, benzocaine, or other "caine" anesthetics. WHEN USING THIS PRODUCT. • do not use this product for more than 7 days unless directed by a dentist or doctor. If sore mouth symptoms do not improve in 7 days; if irritation, pain or redness persists or worsens; or if swelling, rash or fever develops, see your doctor or dentist promptly. • do not exceed recommended dosage. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. If more than used for pain is accidentally swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Great relief for canker sores
I keep one of these pencils on hand all the time because periodically I will get a canker (usually on the side of my tongue) and it makes eating anything not very enjoyable. This product gives me great relief from the pain as well as helps get it healed. I also keep Quantum Canker Cover on hand because although the pencil give me temporary relief the canker covers stay on for a long time while it is actually healing.

Doesn't taste like salmon
When I buy or make a salmon dish, I expect it to taste like salmon. This microwave dinner tastes overwhelmingly fishy in a harsh way. (And I love fish). If I hadn't read the packaging, I would have thought it was a very old channel cat that lived in a toxic environment.
