This is so Much More than just a Magnetic drawing pad! Features I like: 1) The Magnetic Pen retracts with little pressure, so your kid cannot stab itself with the Pen… (great feature) 2) There is a slider to clear the Magnetic Board; unlike an “etcher sketch” that you have to shake like crazy to clear the board. 3) There is a Black and White Computer that teaches your kids step by step how to draw, and the Alphabet; Upper and Lowercase Letters, and it differentiates between the Upper an lowercase. It repeats the steps, until you select a new letter, or Move on to the next activity! Love that! 4) It turns off after your child doesn’t use it for a Minute, instead of Coming on when you’re not using it, and all the buttons have a function. I’ve bought a few toys for My kids that have had plenty of fake features, as if to trick you; and toys that are on a timer, that pop on for no reason in the Middle of the night… There’s also a Mute button… Dislikes, or Neutral aspects: 1) The computer screen is black and white, but Maybe future Models will have color… 2) The Magnets that are a House and Mouse shape are a little small… 3) I really cannot think of anything else… When we received it, it was in great condition and fully functional: as I said. This is probably one of the best learning tools I’ve bought My kids, and I have three leap frog devices that they just beat up and step on… Thanks for a great Learning tool for the kids! I hope this company continues to create excellent learning toys, and possibly include Numbers as well in future Models.

This product was originally purchased as a learning device to help my younger son write the alphabet. He uses it often to practice his writing or draw. My 2 year old enjoys scribbling and erasing on it as well.
