Perfect mattress from a trusted brand

For a mattress for my baby, above all I want something from a big trusted brand since I know it's thoroughly tested. This mattress from Sealy fits the bill there. It's also very light. I didn't realize how important this was before I actually had a baby….but with a my crib, I have to fully take the mattress out in order change out the fitted sheet. Anything that can make that easier to do in the middle of a night following a diaper blowout is a big win in my book. Finally, I like that the infant side vs toddler side is clearly labeled. This is another thing I hadn't really thought of much, but it's important for the tiny babes to have a firm surface for safe sleep. Once they are toddlers they can have something closer to what you or I might sleep on….but in the mean time it's good to be very sure they're sleeping on the safe firm side.

Great Mattress!

• The Sealy Ever Lite 2-Stage Crib and Toddler Mattress is wonderful. It is lightweight and easy to pick up and place in a crib or toddler bed. The entire core of the mattress is made from sustainable hypoallergenic fibers. One side of the mattress is for infants and the other side is for toddlers and the mattress is clearly marked which so is which. A perfect mattress for babies and toddlers. I like that it is a 2-stage mattress. Has a nice thickness and feel to the mattress. Fits nice and snug in the crib. Crib sheets stay nice and snug on the mattress. The mattress measurements are 51.63 x 27.25 x 5 inches. An Eco-friendly mattress. The mattress is quite light, which is nice especially when you have to reach down in the crib and lift the mattress to change the sheets. The difference between the sides of the mattress is the infant side is firmer and the toddler side is softer. The toddler side has an extra comfort layer which offers extra support for the toddler. The mattress has a woven cover that is breathable with a waterproof barrier for easy cleaning. Very happy with the quality of the mattress.

Can always trust Sealy for crib mattresses!

I appreciate that Sealy provides Greenguard certified crib mattresses as well as truly firm mattresses for infants and toddlers. This gives such peace of mind for the safety of our children! The safety tag is wonderful, even reminding to check on the tightness of the fitted sheet and much more. This is such a great addition because there are so many safety concerns that arise each year parents don't know about because things are constantly changing. This mattress really is nice and firm and doesn't lose firmness easily. The cover is nice and smooth, partially satin-y and actually a bit moisture wicking. Not waterproof by any means so you definitely need a mattress protector but if it fails it seems to at least have some partial protection built-in. It arrived in its own plastic bag within the box so it was very clean and ready to go! No strange smells like some in the past. A regular crib sheet fits it perfectly with a mattress protector underneath as well. My toddler loves it immediately!
