Bought the Sand Dipper for a shelling trip to Sanibel Island, FL and it worked great. the Y fork on the dipper is very sturdy compared to the cheap flimsy ones that bend when digging in the shell racks. The handle has a loop and good grip. The best is that the dipper unscrews into 2 sections so it fits in a carry-on bag! I'll use this to collect Rose Rocks in Oklahoma next, then maybe a trip to Arkansas Crater of Diamonds State Park to hunt for diamonds.
