Most functional kamado style I have cooked on.

I love the fact that this is the only 2 zone kamado style on the market and LOVE the fact that it's made in the USA., Make sure to get the pizza oven kit!! The kids look forward to our weekly pizza nights on the Primo. The name says it all - It's the Best. I have cooked on every style and brand Kamado, this 2 zone funtion allows you to do it all!

Chiney Falls Off the lid

I'm not sure if it is a poorly designed or bad quality control, or both. The chiney is not snugly fit on the top of the lid, so when the lid is opend the chimney leans to the back and falls off. To avoid the chimney falling off, you have to hold on to it while lifting the lid up, and the chimney is hot. You have to have someone hold it, while you working on the meats, or If just by yourself, you have to take it off then the grill temperture will change. It's an easy fix, but c'mon Primo, for the price, you should make it right. It tooks me months to decide between the Kamado Joe and Primo. I paid more to get the Primo plus its assential accessories because it's made the USA, but I'm really disappoited. I called the customer service this morning and I was told to take the photos of the chimney falling of the lid. They want to see how it happens before helping me. Sorry, English is my second language. I hope you guys get what I want to explain about the problem.

New design poorly implements Kamado Joe features

New chimney topper brings Kamado Joe's design to Primo, but it falls off when the lid is opened. It is only pressure fit, and the fit is too loose to stay put. When you fully open the chimney, it leans way to the side because of the loose fit. Open the lid in this position and it falls off, gets scratched up, and never looks right again. They were 5 months late bringing this new design to market, and the chimney won't even stay on! The new stainless grates are nice, the new spring assist actually assists in lifting the lid, and all the old goodness is still there. But the chimney is a disaster.
