Spring Valley Daily Probiotics do the job in keeping my system functioning as it should. In 2010 I developed life-threatening peritonitis from a punctured bowel, and had to have emergency surgery to remove a section of bowel plus the spreading necrotic tissue. (Sorry, TMI). As a result my system changed and I became lactose intolerant with other digestive problems. My doctor told me to take daily probiotics. I did. And they worked. On the occasion when I forget and miss several days, my gut reminds me with painful distress that it's time to take them. And as soon as the probiotics are back in me, w/in about 20-ish minutes I'm back to normal. Yes, I absolutely do recommend this product.
