Perfect to use for new baby (when you don't want baby too far away while you're working in the house) and zippered netting makes it perfect for rolling outside for fresh air (or while you're working in the yard) and ensuring baby is protected from leaves, etc. Also nice is that you can adjust the mattress at an angle, so if baby has the sniffles, you can elevate one end of the mattress and not worry about pillows/blankets around the baby's nose/mouth.

Just a great product over all. We had a gift of a much much more expensive bassinet that I kept stubbing my toes on and was not as sturdy as this bassinet.
