You don't need to add any lighter fluid nothing just use that Kingford no chemicals on it. Nothing you just use it. I've been on a 3 year kick of only using lump charcoal. Well I couldn't find some so I went back to the kingsford bricks. I forgot how much longer these burned compared to lump. And I can get the bricks hotter than lump. I'm going back to the bricks. And I grill quite a bit.
