This Food to Live Roasted Unsalted Sunflower Seeds 8 oz bag has good quality seeds with a clean roasted flavor that works well in recipes. I have been using them in homemade sauces and sprinkled over salads, and the lack of salt makes them easy to season however I want without overpowering the dish. The seeds themselves were fresh and consistent, with no noticeable off flavors or stale taste. Because they are already shelled, they are convenient to add directly into recipes without any extra preparation. My biggest complaint is the value of the 8 ounce size. I was not paying close enough attention when ordering, and for about one dollar more I could have bought the 1 pound bag. Looking back, the half pound option is overpriced compared to the larger size and is difficult to justify unless you only need a small amount. If you want unsalted sunflower seeds for cooking, baking, or salads, these are a good choice. I would simply recommend buying the larger bag unless you specifically need the 8 ounce package.

These sunflower seeds are perfect. Nice, crunchy roasted taste with no unhealthy oils. The price for the size is perfect too and nice addition to my salads, will definitely be ordering again.
