Grill has a major design flaw would not buy it again

The heat plates are designed in a way that they do not drain . Net result is any drop of oil or fat will stay on tne surface and catch fire Flare ups are almost unmanageable

Not worth it - constant problems!

The only positive is that the grill looks great. As far as functionality, worst grill I've ever owned in my life. There is a design flaw where the auto ignition wires stop working due to heat. How ridiculous that a grill can handle heat. I've had repairs twice now and am on the 3rd time for the same failure. At this point I'd rather go into the woods, build my own fire pit with rocks and dirt pit and cook with a metal pot and wooden spoon than deal with this grill. Oh and PS Hestan takes forever to repair. Do yourself a favor and go with something else.

Grill Flares Up Like Fireworks, Customer Service the Pits

This grill has some nice features, but I'd look elsewhere if you expect premium service and experience for the premium price. Never had a grill that flares like this one, at any temperature. Its because the flat tiles that dispense the heat cause the drippings to pool. And customer service is great at lip service, but that's all. Yes its nicer than a Weber, but for the price, you can do better.
