Farberware Professional 12-inch Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Tongs

I was gifted this item in order to provide my honest review. I really like the grip these tongs have. You can easily pick up very small items, like peas, and very thin items, like lettuce or greens, without dropping them due to the metal scallops and great spring on this tool. My favorite feature is the lock/unlock feature that allow you to do so with the use of only one hand by either holding the tongs up or down. The rubber pads on each side provide a cool and easy grip surface when using these tongs near heat or flames. I have several sizes and brands of tongs in my kitchen, and these will be replacing at least one set, I like them so much. The stainless steel makes them attractive and easy to clean. They are dishwasher safe and have a limited lifetime warranty.. Great for cooking and serving. I would like to see if there is a longer set of these for use at the grill...maybe and 18" set?
