Iams Proactive Health Salmon Dry Cat Food, 7 Lb Bag

Iams has been a blessing for me and my cat. For the longest time I had been feeding my cat Friskies kibble since he was a kitten, he never had an issue with it until last year. He had begun to overgroom himself to the point of raw spots and had terrible acne, we went to the vet several times to be dismissed by saying the issue was fleas. I researched more on what could be causing the issue and did an elimination diet using Iams Salmon cat food. Overtime, my cat stopped showing as many symptoms of an allergic reaction, his hair came back, he stopped having acne and dirty ears. Switching to Iams, my cat started eating it immediately, not needing me to use any tricks to get him to eat it. When his fur grew back, it was softer than ever. He's never had hairballs before so I cannot say whether this product will alleviate hairballs or cause them more.

I attempted, briefly, using a more common National brand %26 noticed immediate absence of 'evacuation' by my Cat. I waited, same lack of %232, and it was the only aspect of the Cat's intake that had changed. :-0 I am now mixing what was left 50/50 with Iams dry. i prefer weight control because it is an indoor only cat with well maintained weight (although it gradually increased since Shelter Adoption when their weight was rated Excellent. i am aware of some word of mouth regarding this manufacturer, however, both cats over time have performed well on it %26 I manage ALL other intake with health in mind: small portion of fish filet or breast of chicken (plain) most nights. I am able to afford this merchandise by trading off other expenses %26 will not revert to trying other brands except in a mix.
