Feeding Instructions
FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS:While these are the recommended feeding ranges for moderately active dogs, you should adjust them as needed to help them maintain their optimum weight.Weaning Puppies:Start puppies on Pure Balance Grain Free Chicken & Pea Recipe Food for Dogs as soon as they begin to chew solid food, usually 3-4 weeks of age. Allow them to eat as much as they want until fully weaned (6-8 weeks of age).Growing Puppies:After weaning, feed 2-3 times the recommended adult amount in three meals per day until 6 months of age, then twice daily until 12 months. Food can be moistened to help encourage puppies to start eating solid food. To serve moistened, mix 1/4 part warm water (not hot) with 2 parts of Pure Balance Grain Free Chicken & Pea Recipe Food for Dogs and stir. If you choose to moisten, discard remaining food after 30 minutes to ensure product freshness.Reproduction and Lactation:Feed pregnant females 1.5 times the amount shown for their non-pregnant weight. Feed lactating females up to 3 times the amount shown for their non-pregnant weight.Switching to Pure Balance:When you first bring your new companion home or when you change dog foods, your dog will need help transitioning to the new Pure Balance dog food. Begin by switching to the new food slowly over the course of 6-10 days. Each day mix a little more of the new Pure Balance dog food with a little less of your current dog food until you are feeding 100% Pure Balance dog food. Remember to provide plenty of fresh water in a clean container at all times. Regular veterinary visits are recommended to ensure your dog stays healthy.

This dog food has been such a great addition to my dog's routine! Good ingredients for the price! It doesn't upset his stomach or give him diarrhea like other foods do. I've also noticed that he stops itching and licking his paws when using this food. Maybe it doesn't have as many fillers? Either way, we are very happy with it.

My dogs loved the food. The kibbles appeared small, which I like. It seems easier to measure when the kibbles are smaller. The product is package nicely. I have bought blue buffalo wilderness for years and this food seemed comparable to me. The price was excellent.

My dogs are happy
My dogs like this food quite a bit. I do wish it was less expensive, but I wish that about a lot of things these days. At any rate, we are moving to a grain free dog food due to several celiacs in the family and cross contamination issues. It's not 100% (made in a factory that processes items with allergens), but hoping it's better. I'm impressed with how much my dogs like it though. They also seem to have good digestion and no issues switching.
