I've really tried every other brand under the sun. I try really hard to stick to the "kind", non-animal-tested brands, but sometimes I stray. I was desperate to cover my over-due grays today at the supermarket, and there it was. I thought what they hay. Let me tell you, everything from the ease of application, to the scent, to the fact that it didn't sting my uber-sensitive scalp. Then, to top it all off, it didn't leave my scalp not hair crispy, and the results were PERFECT. Exactly the color I was going for. Very natural-looking. I can't say yet how it will hold up, but I think I may have found myself a new winner. I may go a bit lighter next time, for spring and all, but the color, Medium Golden Brown, was, on my medium brown hair, exactly as pictured on the box, without a single gray in sight. Highly recommend. Home coloring has come a LONG way.
Best color and covers my grays!
I'm glad I tried this brand and color! This is the only one I use now. Love that it doesn't smell strong like many others. It makes my hair shine! My "natural" color is very likely all gray, but I've been coloring for a long time so am not quite sure. It covers my gray roots completely which is a huge plus. The only thing I don't care for is the smell of the after-color conditioner. I prefer to use non-scented products and this has a very heavy scent. Would love it to come with an unscented conditioner.

I just wanted to take a min to brag on this box color... Its my 1st time trying it and I'm highly satisfied with it!!...It is AMAZING! Looking at the reviews I was afraid maybe I had made a big mistake buying it but as I began reading their reasoning it was mainly because of the shape of the bottle and one xtra pc of packaging- which i get its bad for the environment n all but I think its a ridiculous reason to give a bad review but anyways If you plan to do a box color I would def suggest you give this brand a try...I love it for many reasons..my main reason is bc it has NO ammonia! It's made with 60% oils, including flower olis which is so much healthier for your hair! And It smells so awesome during and after the process instead of almost killing you with chemical aromia that stays in your hair for forever! It seems to cover really great being I started with bleach blonde hair. It has already made my bleach blonde fragile, highly damaged hair feel so much better...And to top it off I love its stylish packaging!
