Mainstays 16 oz Food Jar, Stainless Steel

This is the perfect size for lunches. I fill it with Mac and Cheese for my granddaughter. Yes, she eats it every day. The mouth is wide, making it easy to clean. It is also dishwasher safe. I use it all the time. Great price too. I have several of them. Hot or cold it can handle it.

Before work, I made some soup and put it in this insulated food jar. I took it to work and left it on my desk. I wanted to test if the food was actually going to stay warm for the full 5 hours. I was pleasantly surprised that the food was pretty warm. Obviously, not as hot as it was when I left the house. However, it was warm enough to eat and enjoy. I have not tried hot chocolate or coffee yet, but those are next on my list as soccer season is around the corner. This jar was very easy to clean. It does not have a bunch of places where food or drink is going to get stuck. The lids open very easy. I will say it was a little tough opening the inside lid with the warm soup inside. I am very pleased with this product and would definitely recommend to family and friends. The top lid is a little confusing as you have to twist to make it come off. However, when you look inside, it is not normal threads. So, even though it is a little weird, it works well. It stays on tight. I have had no issues with this product and my wife likes it as well.
