It has joint supplements, must taste pretty good and is a good size kibble for large. to medium-small dogs. i put a little warm water, broth or canned food on it to help my 15 year old large dog chew it, and gʻet my little picky one to eat it easily. We started our senior dog who has severe arthritis in his back and hind legs, allergies, and has no spleen because it almost burst. Thank God we noticed. After trying to find a good food that wasn't so expensive we came upon Pure Balance Pro Senior. He eats it willinglyand after less than a month started getting more energy. He even hops in the car on his own 4 out of 5 times! It's just amazing! Vet said he had the "worst case of arthritis he'd ever seen, said he's doing great. We've been using for about 9 months now, his bloodwork just came back and everything is in range! No extra supplements. Besides allergy injections and edible flea/tick prevention, he gets 95% of his nutrition from Pure Balance Pro Senior 7 years. That's just my experience. Good luck!
