Life changing

I've been using disposable menstrual discs for years, but I wanted to use a reusable cup, but all the cups I tried inflamed my cervix. I had to figure out which way to place it, and it took a few tries, but once I figured it out I didn't feel a thing. I love this cup.

Pretty great product

I brought this because I use a caya diaphragm for contraception, which is a similar design to these cups so I knew it would be very comfortable when it was in, you can't feel it at all. On my first day using it I was a bit annoyed because it leaked but I decided to try again the next day and I'm glad I did because I managed to have sex and no leaks at all on a pretty heavy day. I guess it's only down side is it's a little bit tricky to put in and take out as it is quite big. This might help some people that are saying it leaks, to avoid this you have to really push it back as far as possible and then when you tuck it behind your pelvic bone make sure that front edge is sealed all the way around. Makes it a little tricky to get out but just turn your hand backwards and you can hook it underneath

Exceeded all expectations!

I never used any cups before. My flow is very small due to a hormonal IUD. This prevents me from using tampons (tampon is half-dry after a few hours, which us unsafe). The worst situation is while swimming. The flow is still there, but can't wear a tampon. I bought ziggy cup after reading lots of reviews on various menstrual cups. Tried inserting right away, not waiting until the period. As all reviews said, there is a learning curve. The trick is to push the cup more towards the back, as opposed to tampon going more upright. Initially, I positioned the cup incorrectly, before the cervix. It takes a few tries... Now, during my period it worked perfectly. I was able to properly insert it from the 2nd attempt. When it is in the right place, I don't feel it and forget about it altogether. Works exactly as described except pulling out seems a bit tricky. I can't hook the rim with one finger as the manual describes. Instead, I insert my thu.b as well and grab the rim with two fingers. Maybe just need more practice. I don't know how it the cup would work with heavy flow, but for my particular situation it works perfectly! Haven't tried swimming yet or sex. Will write an update once I have.
