We use these as a treat. We eat healthy and try to stick to good foods, but sometimes you want something sweet, so we opt for the protein kick too. They do have a bit of a gaseous affect So if you're going to be in an office or closed spaces with others, maybe see how your body reacts to them before you might have discomfort in a social situation.
