I am a Walmart associate. I recently decided to change my food storage containers to glass because it's safer to store food in. I came across this Rubbermaid glass storage container and bought one to see if I liked it. The glass is great and the lid locks really tight and with this particular size eight cups you can store 3 lb of ground sirloin in it if you make chili or sloppy joes or taco meat so it's perfect for my needs.

I thought that I had ordered the plastic Rubbermaid Brillance Food containers instead of glass ones. With arthritis in my hands. these glass containers are a bit heavy. So I only store popcorn kernals in them. The containers are on a shelf in pantry so I just removed a lid and dip measuring cup into container.
