Extra protection

Even though my baby's mattress is supposed to be waterproof, it is still a good extra protection to have this cover on. He will occasionally pee through his diaper. So it is just an extra piece of mind. I haven't had it long but seens to hold up well.

Soft and waterproof

I am pleased with this Sealy mattress pad that I got to cover a small, collapsable cot that my granddaughter naps on. I'm sure it would also fit nice and taut on a standard crib mattress. It has a nice, soft pillow top that is over a waterproof plastic. The sides are made of sheer material that fit around a mattress with elastic. This washes very nice using warm water and low dryer. It may need to be turned inside out and dried again because of the plastic. It says it is antimicrobial, so I feel good about letting my grandchild sleep on it.
