Obviously I can't compare performance of the old PC to this one. However, we love the build quality, speed and performance of the Yoga 7 so far. Our use case is basic home management tasks (budgeting, paying bills, vacation planning, etc.) and the occasional streaming of a move or music. For our case it's perfect.

It's extremely fast (I'm unfortunately the type that leaves open 30 tabs at a time but this laptop never slowed down) and versatile (I use it as a whiteboard at times for my students). Keep in mind that I did upgrade the RAM so that might be way. Still, I'm very happy with my purchase.
