Instructions

Step 1: Prepare, Here?s what you need: instructions, betty color, betty lightening cream 1, betty developing cr?me 2, application wand, spatula, mixing tray, gloves, petroleum jelly, clock, an old towel (to protect your skin, clothes, and counter) and blow dyer/cellophane wrap (optional).Step 2: Trim, For best results trim hair that is outside the Safe Zone as illustrated. Apply petroleum jelly around the outside of the hair line to help prevent unnecessary staining.Step 3: Open, Open tube marked ?betty lightening cr?me 1? and from the top, squeezing downward, dispense half of the cr?me into mixing tray.Step 4: Add, Open bottle of ?betty developing cr?me 2? and pour half of the contents into mixing try.Step 5: Mix, Using spatula, mix vigorously until completely blended (about 1 minute).Step 6: Apply, Coat wand generously with mixture. Apply liberally, using an upward motion, onto your hair down there. Do not apply to labia. If you experience any burning or irritation, rinse area immediately.Step 7: Time It, What shade of the color do you want? Remember, the lighter the shade the brighter the color! For a dark auburn leave mix on for 20 minutes. For a medium to light auburn leave on for 30 minutes. For a bright auburn leave on for 30 minutes, and repeat application for 15 minutes.BOOST TIP:To accelerate the lightening and color process, once you have applied the color mixture, place a small piece of kitchen cellophane wrap to cover your betty area (it will naturally stick to the formula). Using a blow dryer on low heat, gently blow-dry betty area for about 5-10 minutes.Step 8: Rinse, Jump into shower and rinse area well. Towel dry.Next, Apply the Color:1. Open: After rinsing the mixing tray and wand, open tube marked ?betty color? and from the top, squeezing downward, dispense half of the color into mixing tray. Save leftover color to use if you need a boost when color starts to fade.2. Add: Re-open the bottle marked ?betty developing creme 2? and pour the remaining half of the bottle into the mixing tray.3. Mix: Using spatula, mix vigorously until completely blended (about 1 minute).4. Color: Coat wand generously with color. Apply liberally, using an upward motion onto your hair down there.5. Time it: Leave the betty color on for 20-30 minutes. (To maximize gray coverage leave on for full 30 minutes.) To accelerate color, follow bettyBOOST TIPinstructions, shown above.6. Rinse: Jump into the shower and rinse area gently. Towel dry. If staining occurs on skin or hands, use a soapy washcloth to wash off the excess color
