Dawn Ultra 11" Puff Glassware and Dish Cleaning Brush Wand with Sponge Head

The dishwasher suddenly stopped working so it became necessary for me to wash everything by hand. I soon discovered that my hand didn't fit inside many pieces of the various glassware and jars. I quickly became aware of my need of a "bottle brush" , however after having watched a yt video about this kid that swallowed a loose bristle that became lodged in throat, I knew that I was looking for something without bristles. I found it in this Dawn dishwashing wand. The spongy head is dense and flexible, getting into small grooves. Usually when using these type of tools , there is the problematic area where the washing end is connected to the wand , its not covered, you're "washing" the bottom of the glass with hard plastic or a rubber cap on a twisted wire. Not with this Dawn dishwashing wand. The compact head on this hasn't bottomed out. I'm so impressed by it that I'm purchasing another one. For the record, I don't use Dawn dish soap, I use a mild, unscented plant based dish soap.

It's not that I haven't had something similar to this in the past. The ones I've used had a cheap sponge at the end of the handle and would either fall off or tear within a couple of uses. This one is amazing and the design is top notch. It's great to use to wash the insides of glasses and the way it's made has a super way to stay put and not tear. Don't let the way the sponge is in pieces deter you. It's sturdy and the cleaning it provides is above and beyond other cheap imitations. Worth the money and has held up for a couple of months! As always, that's just my 2 cents. :)
