This ball pit was a huge hit for my almost 3 year old granddaughter. She loved every second of it. The tunnel secures to both sides with four points of connection using ties which can be hard to thread if you have any dexterity issues. I strongly suggest using all four ties on each side of the tunnel for maximum stability and to reduce the possibility of tearing. For size comparisons, I fit sitting in the tent section and I army crawled through the tunnel. I am 5 ft 6 and around 184 lbs. This pit will hold A LOT of balls, I have 300 big ones and 250 small ones and I strongly suggest sticking with one size. She likes to bring her stuffies in the pit but likes it best when I am in there too. I like that the sides are flexible and does not hurt her when she falls. The hardest part of this set is getting all the balls back in the bags and folding this thing to make it fit in the circular case. I leave hers folded flat and just tie the tunnel ends together (which is the same way the tunnel arrives). So far, we have only used it in my apartment and have not taken it outside. Unless we are going to be outside for a significant amount of time, there are other things to entertain her out there, but it might come in handy during a road trip. Set up and take down are a snap, but getting all the balls picked up and put back in the bags is a lot of work, so I would probably only take one bag of the bigger ones if I were to use it while traveling. All in all, I would say this was a great purchase. I think I would have preferred snap connections between the tunnel and the other parts, for staying connected better, because sometimes the ties do come loose, but it does not diminish the fun my granddaughter has while playing.
