Firestone Destination X/T Rugged Terrain LT265/70R18 124/121S E Light Truck Tire

When I got these tires there was only one review at the time, so I was slightly reluctant to put these on as the first tires after installing my lift kit. Going from street tires on my 98 XJ Cherokee to these has GREATLY improved my ability to stop on wet roads. Road noise is very low, and the ride quality is impressive for an all-terrain tire that is geared more towards off-road performance than on. I have put these tires to the test off road as well. For a tire that is as docile as it is on the pavement, the off-road capability is amazing. The only negative is that my fuel mileage did drop quite a lot, but I put these (larger) tires on when I did the lift at the same time, so it's hard to tell how much of an impact the tires made on that aspect. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase, and I will be buying them again.

Got the tires because the factory tires on my Silverado came defective one blew out in the first 5k miles got that replaced with a bridgestone tire. Well after about another 20k another tire created a "bubble" so i went ahead and replaced all 4 with the new X/T. We have property up north about 2 and a half hours of high way driving. Surprisingly they are very quiet unless we turn the music off and pay attention to the tires we can not hear the rumble, very very happy about that. We also have about 5 miles of nothing but dirt non maintained roads which include a half mile of about 7 percent grade up hill. Which with the old tires would mean a lot of slipping and at times require to turn the 4 wheel drive on because it was too wet. With the new tire we've gone up the hill about 7 times and each one we have had no slipping at all. So far they have been grate hopefully they last a while. Everyone loves the look of them but when they ask or see the brand "Firestone" they make a ughhh face "really firestone???" once we tell them how we feel about them they seem to be surprised. Only time will tell.
