a few temp swings, within -5°F/ 5°F of setpoint, but it corrects itself thankfully. the Pit Boss app is trash though. Has to connect to 2.4ghz, so if you do have that configured in your gateway, you'll need to do that in order to use it. Things I dont like about the app: 1 - it won't send phone alarms in case smoker gets out of control with it when getting probe temp readings. 2- they really need to add a feature that allows user to adjust P Setting when away from the grill. That would be nice. other than that, the grill itself is fantastic!! Highly recommend it!

Well built and user friendly

I assembled and would recommend help when doing so. This grill is well built and very heavy. I love the startup feature which allows you to set a warm up temperature so that as soon as you power on it will warm to that temperature point. At this point I have only done the burn off but will be testing a cook later today. So far it works great and love the ease of access to all replacement parts.
