Goldfaber Color Pencils

The Goldfaber are thin pencils that come painted in gray with the base of the color to match the mine. Despite its thinness it is not a fragile pencil. They come inside a colorful and light metal case. They are round, manageable, do not leave lumps when painting and, although they do not give off bits of mine on contact with the paper, care must be taken when sharpening them very sharply, as the tip can break in case of pressure. These pencils have a 3mm mine.

Love these Color Pencils

My 10 year old is an artist and she is in love with these. I love the packaging. She use them to drawing in her drawing book and it was beautiful. These color pencils are beautiful with their shading. I can only imagine what a rainbow would look line. I highly recommend this for all artist.

Very Nice Set

This is a great colored pencil set- very classy and sophisticated. This would make any pre teen or mature older child interested in art very happy. The set includes an insert about using colored pencils which is also super helpful for those interested in art but not well versed (like me). The metal case is also very nice and adds to the value of the colored pencils. I was impressed by the break resistant leads- they feel firm but still glide well. The set of twelve is just the right amount of colors for any masterpiece! I do recommend these colored pencils!
