These scissors are by far the best I've found! PROS: -They cut cleanly through thread, thin fabrics, and even thicker yarns -They are very long and narrow (but sturdy) to reach into small spaces, they also can open to almost 180° -They are sharp across the whole blade, I can cut just as well with the tip as I can by the handle (most scissors I've run into seem to struggle to get get clean cuts using the tip) -The heron design is super cute, even the metal is engraved to give the bird more texture -The handles are symmetrical, not 'right-handed' or 'left-handed' CONS: -The handles are large enough for my fingers but can start to hurt after a using them for a bit -The paisley print has a small cosmetic defect on one side

I bought used these specifically to cut yarn and I was actually very pleasantly surprised how sharp they are . It cut through the yarn very easily and left behind no little frilly pieces. I highly recommend these scissors.
